In this Policy, “Life Skills Reimagined,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to these entities as applicable to the activity involved.
This Policy should be read with our Terms of Service, any notices presented at checkout or account registration, and any consent form or agreement that applies to a particular program.

This Policy does not govern a third-party website or service that maintains its own privacy policy. When an organization provides your access, that organization may separately control certain information and should explain its own privacy practices to you.

3 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, software-development tools, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies across the Services, including the public website, ecommerce pages, and learning platform. These technologies may be set by us or by providers that host or support the Services, including website, ecommerce, learning-platform, authentication, analytics, communications, payment, security, and embedded-content providers.
We may use these technologies to:

Cookies may be session cookies, which expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or are deleted. Some cookies and similar technologies are necessary to authenticate users, maintain a secure platform session, remember account state, save progress, process transactions, or provide requested content. Disabling necessary technologies may prevent you from signing in, accessing courses, saving progress, completing assessments, using the shopping cart, or using other features.
You can manage nonessential cookies through any cookie controls made available within the applicable Service and through your browser or device settings. Cookie choices made on the public website may not automatically control technologies used by the separately hosted learning platform, embedded content, or another device or browser. Where required by law, we provide additional notice or choices in the relevant Service.
We may use Google Analytics or similar services to understand use of our websites or other portions of the Services where those tools are enabled. Google provides information about its privacy practices and browser opt-out options at Google Privacy and Terms. The learning platform and embedded content providers may also use operational and analytical technologies as described in their applicable privacy documentation and our agreements with them.

5 Aggregated and Deidentified Data and Research
We may create and use aggregated or deidentified information derived from use of Life Skills Reimagined, including assessment results, completion information, scores, engagement measures, seat time, and other learning outcomes, for research, analytics, program evaluation, reporting, and improvement of the Life Skills Reimagined curriculum and platform.
We may disclose aggregated or deidentified information to research, analysis, and service partners that assist with those purposes. We require those partners to follow appropriate confidentiality, security, and use restrictions. We do not sell or license deidentified research data for a third party’s independent commercial purposes, and we do not attempt to reidentify it. Public reports and publications present findings in aggregated or deidentified form that does not reasonably identify an individual.
Information is treated as deidentified only when it cannot reasonably be linked to an identifiable person under the circumstances and applicable law. If identifiable information is needed for a research activity, we will use it only when permitted by law and any additional notice, permission, consent, agreement, or institutional review applicable to that activity.
6 How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances.
Service Providers
We may provide information to vendors that perform services for us, such as website and ecommerce hosting, learning-platform hosting, payment processing, shipping, email delivery, customer support, analytics, security, fraud prevention, information technology, data storage, and professional services. These providers may use the information only to perform authorized services or as otherwise permitted by their agreements and applicable law.
Our providers may include Wix or other website and ecommerce providers, Epignosis or TalentLMS, payment processors, shipping providers, Google Analytics, and email providers such as Mailchimp. The particular providers used may change over time.
Research Analysis and Evaluation Partners
We may disclose aggregated or deidentified information to research, analysis, evaluation, and service partners as described in Section 5. Identifiable information will be disclosed for these purposes only when permitted by law and subject to appropriate safeguards and any additional permission or agreement that applies.
Account Sponsors and Administrators
If a parent, guardian, school, agency, employer, or other organization provides or administers your access, we may provide authorized administrators with information reasonably necessary to manage that access. Depending on the arrangement, this may include account status, assignments, participation, completion information, scores, reports, and support information. The sponsoring organization is responsible for its own use of that information.
Affiliates and Business Operations
We may disclose information between LYFT Learning, LLC and LYFT Life Skills International and to personnel and contractors who need it to operate Life Skills Reimagined. We may also disclose information in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, acquisition, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections and notice where required.
Legal Compliance Safety and Rights
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law or legal process; respond to a valid government request; protect the rights, safety, or property of users, the public, or our organizations; investigate fraud or security incidents; enforce agreements; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
At Your Direction
We may disclose information with your direction or consent or as otherwise explained when the information is collected.
7 Sales Sharing and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not sell or license deidentified research data for third parties’ independent commercial purposes.
Some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly enough to include certain advertising or analytics technologies. If we use technology covered by those definitions on a website, ecommerce page, learning-platform page, or another portion of the Services, we will provide the notices and opt-out methods required by applicable law, such as cookie controls or a “Your Privacy Choices” link. We will honor legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals where required.
8 Legal Bases for Processing
Where a law requires us to identify a legal basis for processing, we rely on one or more of the following:
• Contract: processing needed to provide a requested product or service, administer an account, or complete a transaction;
• Legitimate interests: operating, securing, evaluating, and improving our services; communicating with users; preventing fraud; and protecting our rights, provided those interests are not overridden by applicable individual rights;
• Consent: processing based on permission, including certain marketing, cookie, or research activities when consent is required;
• Legal obligation: processing needed to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, tax, accounting, or recordkeeping duties; and
• Protection of vital interests or public interest: when applicable under law.
You may withdraw consent at any time where processing depends on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed and may affect our ability to provide a feature that requires the information.
9 Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, maintain learning and transaction records, comply with legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect security, and support legitimate business operations.
Retention periods vary according to the type of information, the relationship involved, applicable account or organizational settings, legal requirements, and whether information is needed for a claim or investigation. We may retain aggregated or deidentified information for research, evaluation, reporting, and improvement where permitted by law.
10 Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No system or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.
11 International Data Transfers
We and our providers are based in the United States and may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different privacy laws from your country of residence. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, approved contractual protections, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
12 Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:
• request access to or a copy of personal information we maintain about you;
• request correction of inaccurate personal information;
• request deletion of personal information;
• request restriction of or object to certain processing;
• receive certain information in a portable format;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• opt out of marketing communications;
• opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where applicable;
• appeal our response to a privacy request where applicable; and
• receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising a privacy right.
To submit a request, email support@lyftlifeskills.org with the subject line “Privacy Request.” Describe the request and the account or transaction involved. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and verification of the consumer’s identity.
You may unsubscribe from marketing email by selecting the unsubscribe link in the message. You may continue to receive transactional and operational communications relating to your account, purchase, subscription, or the Service.
Residents of the European Economic Area or United Kingdom may also lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority. Residents of a U.S. state with applicable privacy rights may contact their state attorney general or other designated regulator. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.
13 Children and Teenagers
An adult must make an ecommerce purchase. An adult may purchase access for a minor and is responsible for supervising the minor’s use.
Our general-audience website, ecommerce pages, and direct-to-consumer registration process are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly permit a child under 13 to independently create an account or submit personal information through those portions of the Services. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 without legally sufficient authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Life Skills Reimagined may be provided to minors through a parent, guardian, school, agency, or other organization. When services are designed for or knowingly provided to children under 13, we use a separate process intended to obtain legally sufficient authorization and provide any additional notice required by applicable law. Schools and organizations are responsible for providing notices and obtaining permissions required for information they submit or direct us to process.
Parents or guardians who believe a child provided personal information improperly may contact us at support@lyftlifeskills.org.
14 Third Party Sites and Services
Our websites, learning platform, course content, and communications may link to or embed services that we do not operate, such as video, document, communications, accessibility, or other content providers. A third party’s privacy policy governs information the third party collects for its own purposes. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third-party sites or services.
Our social-media pages are also subject to the policies of the applicable platform. Social-media platforms may provide us with aggregated insights and information about interactions with our pages.
15 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our services, data practices, providers, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Policy and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice or seek consent when required by law.
